My Final Posting

Since this is my last posting for this computer rotation I am going to say what I thought was fun about this learning experience. I thought that learning about Big Huge Labs and Voicethread were my favorite because I thought that making creative things out of pictures from Flickr on Big Huge Labs was fun and that making book talks on Voicethread, too. I think that Flickr is a website that I will be using in the future from learning about it during this rotation. I can use Flickr in future for the pictures that is has. For the future people who will learn from this tutorial, I think that they should change to learning about Google Docs before learning about Big Huge Labs because you can use Google Docs in school to use with other people from your class.

Wordle

Yesterday, we went and explored on a really awesome website called Wordle. Wordle is a website that allows you to make a word cloud from words that you write in the box. The words that you use more often will be bigger than the other ones which will be helpful when you do it for a school project because you can find out which words you have used too much. I think that this was a fun website to explore and I hope that other people will enjoy it, also. Here is something that I have created on this awesome website:

Shelfari

Today, we learned about a website called Shelfari. Shelfari is a website that allows you to keep track of books that you have read, that you are reading, and books that you plan to read in the future. I think that Shelfari is a creative websites for readers which is good for students like me. I also have my Shefari shelf on my blog if you would like to see what I have been reading. You can do this also of you have a Shelfari shelf.

Google Docs

In our computer class today, we learned about Google Docs. It is a cool application on Google that allows you to type documents and send it to others for them to edit. I think that Google Docs can help in school projects or assignments because you can get other peopl to see and edit what you have written. I have enjoyed this learning experience and hope that you will, too.

Voicethread

Today we learned about Voicethread.com which is a website that allows you to speak about whatever you would like to say to other people using Voicethread. I even created this book talk on Meg Cabot's Avalon High.
